1) freshly baked bread throughout the duration of the race (for which we will have toasters as well as peanut butter and jam on hand)
2) cinnamon buns and muffins for Sunday's post-race meal
3) ten $10 gift-certificates to be given away as draw prizes
4) a 15% discount for all racers and their families who want to stop in for a meal after the race. You will need your race plate as proof of your participation in the event.
Huge thanks to the fine people at the Falcon Lake Bakery Bistro. We suspect they'd appreciate it if you were to stop in and say thanks as well. Especially if that thanks was accompanied by the purchase of some of their great food.

Northland Appliance is not a new sponsor. They were with us last year, donating a wine cooler for one of our premium draw prizes. But they do have something new in store for this year: a mid-race BBQ party. From 5 to 7pm, swing on by the patio at the Welcome Centre for some burgers, hot dogs, and Half Pints Little Scrapper. It may not be easy to head back out on the trails after that. But at least you will be having a good time as you throw away any chances of overall victory. It is, after all, the good social times that makes these events what they are. Thanks for your help with this, Paul!
